Maryam Mohsenzadeh, DDS, named 2026 Philanthropy Physician Champion

Maryam Mohsenzadeh, DDS, has been named the 2026 Providence South Division Philanthropy Physician Champion in recognition of her extraordinary commitment to children’s oral health and her remarkable partnership with Queen of the Valley Foundation.

For nearly 17 years, Dr. Mohsenzadeh — known warmly by her patients as “Dr. Maryam” — has led Queen of the Valley Medical Center’s Children’s Mobile Dental Clinic, bringing essential dental
care directly to underserved children across Napa County. With a team of two dentists and four support staff, the clinic has served roughly 9,500 patients over the last two years alone, providing examinations, cleanings, X-rays, fillings and health education. No child is ever turned away for lack of insurance or an inability to pay.

Dr. Maryam’s partnership with the Foundation reflects the same wholehearted dedication she brings to her patients. She has welcomed donors onto her mobile clinic, brought the van to sponsors’ workplaces to share its mission, and embraced new opportunities without hesitation — including expanding services to pre-K screenings when proactive donor funding made it possible.

Her warmth, joy and deep love for the children she serves are evident to everyone she meets. We are proud to honor Dr. Maryam as this year’s Physician Champion.
