An incredible celebration is planned for Queen of the Valley Medical Center Foundation’s 33rd annual Day for the Queen, and everyone is invited.

Day for the Queen is one of the most anticipated events of the summer. The fun-filled day begins with golf at 11 a.m., tennis at 8:30 a.m., and a luncheon and fashion show at 11 a.m. The event continues into the night with a BBQ dinner and dancing to the music of The Time Bandits.

Proceeds from this event are dedicated to the 
Queen of the Valley Medical Center

Shotgun start 11:00 am 

Golf tournaments for men’s and women’s divisions are played on Silverado’s famed South Course. Shotgun start is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. for all players. All sponsors (excluding tee/cart sponsors) shall have priority to play. All other spots will be filled on a first-paid basis.

This year our format is a Shamble. Everybody drives, you take the group’s best drive and play your own ball from there. Scoring will still be based on combined best two net balls per hole at 90% of established handicaps. If you do not have an established handicap, please list your last five 18-hole scores. 

Check in at 10:00 am. Carts out by 10:45am. Tee off at 11:00 am sharp. Lunch and beverages are provided to all golfers on the course.

The men's and women's tennis tournaments are held at Silverado's Resort Courts. Check-in for women begins at 8:00 am and play begins at 8:30 am. Check-in for men begins at 12:30 pm and play begins at 1:00 pm. Awards and prizes are presented at the courts following play.
